A friendly bed and breakfast near the Suffolk coast in a quiet heathland area. There is one double room and two singles.
The house is not far from Southwold, Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh and Saxmundham. It is in a gentle cycling area, with bike hire nearby. Conveniently close to Minsmere RSPB, which is famed for bird watching.
Minsmere is a superb place to enjoy a day out, whether you are a birdwatcher or simply want a country walk with the family. It is one of the RSPB’s most famous nature reserves. It has been an RSPB reserve for over 50 years and pioneered the use of observation hides and management of wetland areas to enable visitors to see a sample of the huge range of birds that pass along the Suffolk coast.
Village End can provide veggie packed lunches to keep you going wherever you go, as well a vegetarian continental breakfast to start your day. Soya milk and Pure margarine are always available, though vegans booking and discussing in advance will get even better served (eg with soya yoghurts).
Village End is advertised in the Vegetarian magazine produced by the Vegetarian Society.
