Small arty cafe with a decent range of vegetarian food on the menu and a willingness to veganise pretty much anything if asked to do so (eg by replacing cheese in a panini with hummus). One of two places in the town to offer soy milk in hot drinks.
Lovely in the summer, as the outdoor tables overlook the green.

Directions
From the train station: turn right out of the station. Head down Victoria Road (which will become Park Road) past Tesco, Morrisons, the park and the bus station. The Angel Cafe is on your left, just before Fair Green.
